If someone is arrested (for an altercation, rounded up with a bunch of other people) then released without conviction, how badly does that damage a permanent resident application?
My friend is dying inside, wondering whether she should "forget" the arrest (does the judge have records of it?) or volunteer to explain. But she is probably not going to explain if it is a likely she'll get denied because of it. Thanks much
