no doubt Steve Hawkings and Carl Sagan (if he were alive) would fall on the ground and worship your All Knowing Highness....I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally "know" everything about our universe, thanks to you. Tell us, Oh Great One, where have you traveled within our universe to obtain such vast knowledge and insight? To how many galaxies have you traveled? Planets? Suns?

It is suggested that it is the dark matter that holds galaxies together from flying away.
It is said that galaxies are formed where dark matter is particularly condensed and where dark matter clumps converge.

      I say:

      There was no Big Bang.

It really never sat well with me. First reason being that such extraordinary occurances, or scientifically speaking singularities (or in other words pecularities) are rare.
The Big Bang denotes an out of ordinary, one of a kind event, which is unnatural in the universe. It is a not proven theory by science, and I would say the most important theory on which the whole today's science is based on.
Is the science based on nothing?

Dark matter grounds the "light" matter in place, binding it and stopping its swift travel across the vacuum to a halt practically. The visible matter couldn't have been born in seconds and travelled as fast as it is implied by the Big Bang Theory. It couldn't have travelled at all because it would disperse and scatter across the Universe and never be able to form galaxies the way they exist today.
The visible matter can't exist without dark matter and dark matter is too heavy to travel fast. Dark matter is said to be very heavy, heavier than the whole galaxy it holds.

There couldn't have been a Bang.
The Bang theory was bourne out of human arrogance. Arrogance that says everything in the universe was created so that we, humans could exist.
BS, ladies and gentelmen. The Universe was not created for us humans. The Universe did not blow out of two colliding particles pushed against each other with the finger of God (sorry Leonardo).
The universe simply condensed slowly into hotter and hotter regions, so hot that the visible matter was created. And not for the first time, not the second and not the millionth time in the history of well, something bigger than our Universe...

This is the natural way things happen in the universe. And all of them are harmonious, according to the laws of nature, where nothing extraordinary takes place.
It is the cycle of life we all know.

      IP,
The Big Bang Theory is actually one of three theories in evolution how the universe was created. And you are obfuscating religious beliefs with the Big Bang theory such as creationism. In essence, the Big Bang Theory helps explain why universes are moving away from each other under Huble's law. This theory will never be proven given our severely limited scientific knowledge of the universe.

What you do not understand IP is that Evolution is both fact and theory.

maybe Iperson talks to god or some other deity....(or, maybe not)...but, what arrogance to presume she knows anything about the beginning of our universe....this from a lying visa cheat??

There are others but the Big Bang today is the one agreed upon by most scientists.

Now the discovery and research into dark matter, especially the 3d map obtained by scientists, radically changes everything.
It is a breakthrough that will have huge implications on science.
The Big Bang Theory is based solely on movement of the visible matter, not taking into consideration the dark matter.
The Big Bang is a void theory now.

          It is huge.
Yes, creationism is tightly attached to the Big Bang Theory as the moment of Creation.
What religious implications of the New Dark World will be?
          Just think.

Evolution my friend has nothing to do with the above.
From my understanding, dark matter helps with the Hubble Law and the Big Bang Theory.
