  • Is this normal for marriage to USC

I filed all my paper, ie, I485,I765,etc.

I saw that they received my information on the USCIS website.

They sent me a letter for biometrics.

They sent me a letter requiring a sponsor and my birth certificate (again, it was included in the original filing).

The website says they have received the information they requested.

I am wondering if these steps are normal. It has been over 2months since the filing, and i have yet to get my EAD.

Any help or input would be appriciated.

I've always been told to expect EAD at approximately 90 days. Plus, you had the delay of them asking for additional info. Sounds like your file got separated so they requested the info again.

91st day walk in to get your ead still applies .. so if you dont get it in the next 30 days .. just go and demand it

from experience any misplaced file cases take twice as long .. i guess it takes a while before they complete the file and put it back on someones desk to process

Do i need a valid passport to go get my EAD if 90 days are up? I have a passport but it is expired. I am in the process of getting a new one, but will i need a valid passport to get the EAD?
