worked with expired EAD

Worked a couple of months with expired EAD. Stopped working that way. Felt very guilty. Still on F1. What will be the implication of that in the future? Will that be a problem when I go out of the US for a couple of weeks and come back ? Will that be a problem in the future when I apply for Greencard?

How do you support yourself if you've stopped working? I guess this might be an even bigger issue.

Then do not work any more.

It's always a problem if you have to answer questions in the future truthfully. Don't do anything else illegally and just do the best you can.

And the best you can means do not work illegally anymore, i guess.
