  • Marriage to USC Military serving in Afghanistan

I am from England. I recently married my USC husband who is in the Military and has just left on a minimum 6 month posting to Afghanistan. I overstayed a tourist visa, the waiver visa program, which makes me technically illegal. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar experiences and what happens if I am found and deported before we can approach the iNS when my husband returns. Can I file in his absense? Any help is much appreciated.
