Marriage proof

Those of you in NYC area may be aware of a weekly column in one of the dailes re: immigration help. One guy wrote in that he and his wife submitted photo's of themselves in bed for the marriage interview. They were denied as the INS examiner said they were pornographic. The lawyer who writes the column says the INS has no business judging you because of the photo's you submit and advised that the couple file a complaint.

What more proof does INS want!

No problem here with the typing.

I cleaned the crap out of my registry. Typing like a bandit now! The program I downloaded to clean it crashed my 'puter 10 times! I have to go wreak havoc and Download.com now! MY DSL just tested at 1159! WooooHooooo!

Only photo is not a proof of real marriage. Photos can be taken or superimposed. That is why, INS wants other proof like joint bank account, Apartment lease, Insurance and affidavits from friends and family that they know about your marriage and you are known to them as husband and wife.

They had all the other documents bank accounts etc etc, but becasue of those particular photo's their application was denied.

I personally don't think it was a good idea to show INS "risque" pictures.
