  • I-129F Question

I have a I-129F action date with the Nebraska field office for my Hong Kong fiancee. The date is November 21, 2002. I am growing increasingly concerned about the state of geopolitical uncertainty in the world right now. To what extent will this uncertainty affect the processing time/acceptance of our application? Furthermore, the Nebraska office was previously reporting that they were processing I-129F visa application with approval notice dates of 8/21/2002. Then, upon their last update, they are now reporting the date to be 7/15/02. Why would the date go backward in time?
