Question on immigration...

My wife is considered Inadmissable becuase she was convicted of a misdemeanor for attempted possession when she was 18. She is from Venesuela and with all the turmoil that is going on there, will they ever grant amniesty for people from that country.

Hard to say, every inadmissibility case is looked upon differently. She definately will have to apply for a waiver.

My best advise is to talk to an immigrationlawyer.

We did about 5 years ago. I just thought that since things were so bad in Venezeula right now that maybe now is the right time. It is really hard for her so I dont want to put her through it again unless there is a very good chance.
