  • Conviction

I am a conditional resident and was arrested for trespassing. I beleive I was wrongfully arrested and am goin to trial. Am I still going to be able to remove my conditions or should I pack up and head home.

The last time I looked, I don't recall that arrests have any bearing on your ability to remove the conditions on your permanent resident status. BUT, an arrest leading to a conviction could lead to possible removability from the US. Still, tresspassing might not qualify as a removable offense anyway. You should retain an experienced immigration attorney to evaluate your entire immigration history for peace of mind. Don't give up on your status so easily... Good luck - rrv

        Thanks RRV.

Is there a place where I can find the Conditions they are referring to when talking about "conditional Permanent Resident"
