  • What is the difference between LPR and US citizenship and HOW to applly for one when married to a USC?

I was curious, what are the papers you need to file for LPR and then what papers for US citizenship? What is the difference between the two? i heard LPR is easy to get then citizenship when you are married to a USC. Is that correct

please help and clarify all this. Thank you very much.

LPR is a Green Cardholder. When a person marries a USC then he can apply for AOS and after interview he becomes a LPR.
To become a USC, on must have either married to a USC spouse for 3 years or must have completed 5 years as LPR.
      Good luck.
