  • question for you

I am a US Citizen and I am married to a canadian. I would like to bring him to the states to live.... I was wondering, I was arrested a little while back for shoplifting, and I was wondering if it would hinder the process of him getting his paperwork. Would that matter if we are married? I know if Canada he wouldn't be able to sponsor me if he has had an arrest, no matter what the charge... is it the same here in the US? If someone could help me, I would appreciate it.. Thanks.
