AOS in NYC

We filed in Newark AOS based on marriage to USC. We filed on 11/29/02. To date wife was fingerprinted Jan 10 and received EAD Feb 20.

The last thing I heard is that it takes at least 26 months in NY

We filed AOS based on marriage to USC in July 2002, and we havent had anything come through yet (not even the fingerprint appointment). It took 90 days and physically applying to get EAD (not to mention one full day lost).

I really hope that it doesnt take 30 months. Keep me posted guys.

about 30 month information gained from today's conversation with INS officer..seems true.
Now 18 month as we filed..

Once my AOS papers are filed (soon) I honestly don't expect to get an interview for at least 18 months in NYC. But there's always hope.

AOS interwiev as per conversation 02/20/03 with INS officer approximately in 30 month!!!!!!as for now..and you are NOT ALLOWED to work, if EAD expired and renewal application is pending !!!!!

Mine expires in April, I physically took my renewal application to INS and got my appointment date. This way I don't have to live in suspense for months. Some INS website says it takes close to 2 years for AOS appointment. Hope it takes less...

LOL..funy, but it is expired..INS promiced Interwiev soon (we went to NYC office in September, they told as 3 month, maximum 4 to wait) and i didn't apply for renewal as suppose to be now 6 month before expiration of EAD.

I didn't. Did you get letter about fingerprints?I have nothing, just INS reciept from end of September.

When did you exactly file? Did you get finger prints interview? I filed on Dec 2001 and still waiting for finger prints. *****

Guys who getting AOS interwiev in NYC, based on marriage and visa K-1, please tell how long you have been waited? I wait for 17 month already.
