Are you being sponsored by Family or work? I am not too familiar on how the process works. Be extra careful, keep all the documents that you come here for very valid reasons so you can present it on your interview if there's any questions. Again, please ask some other opinion.

The normal punishments that includes unawareness or lack of knowlegdge is quoted to be "misrepresentation" which would require a "hardship waiver" (very hard to get approval and will cause delays and money).

    God bless you.

    thank you...

I already have a tourist visa and use to go to US at least twice a year.
Thanks God they gave me the visa 6 years ago because I had to go to a seminary on NY as a requisit of my work.
Now the priority date is coming so close and I'm kind of anxious.
Do you know if they will gave me the appointment for the same date when my visa petition becomes available. That will happen on april next year if INS keeps their current speed.

Thanks again and God Bless you too...

Normally, if you have a pending petition, INS will not issue you a tourist visa (if required) to get in the US because of what they call "Dual Intent".
It is safer to wait. Check to INS website or ask for legal counsel.

    God bless.

Do a google search. It's pretty common knowledge.

You should forget it. The US decided last week that we don't want any more immigrants. Sorry about that, but that's how we want it.

    Hi,

I'm on my country of origin awaiting for my visa petition to be processed. I receive all the paperwork except the appointment and the medical examination.

May I go to US to have that interview in there??
