hi, does anyone know if you can get an h1b visa while waiting for an employment based i140 to be "processed"(consular), as long as it is with a diferent employer from the i140?:-)

most likely you need to get the first h1B visa to approve before you can work. after obtaining the visa, if you change employer, everything is easier. **if possible, hire your own lawyer for the work permit, so that you can be better protected. Good Luck!
