current BIA's # of cases?

    In February 2002, the number of cases was 56,000. Almost one year later, it is still at 56,000. I very much doubt that number is current.

    I vaguely remember that around in September 2002, it was reduced to almost 40,000...according to a newspaper article at that time.

    So what is the CURRENT # of cases that Board of Immigration Appeals will review?

    Where can it be found?

    Speedy & sloppy decisions will sure create another backlog in the different place in Federal justice dept!!!
