Does anyone know or have applied AOS in Boston area?

How long does the process take through the Boston office? and if there were some bad experiences for the interview?

Our interviewing officer was a WITCH!

I didn't use a lawyer, I have a great lawyer if you decide to go that route.

A witch? How so?... is she the only one who interviews?

Did it take you 6 months Josephine for your interview date?

I am filing for AOS through Family sponsor category 1... so I dont know if my case is going to be different than yours.

        What should I expect?

I am USC filed marriage based for my hubby.

          Filed: Feb 2003

          Interview: June 2003

Hubby got EAD and SS# July 2003

Conditional Green Card received end of October 2003

I HOPE she is not the only interviewer! She rattled off commands for papers like a drill sargeant. I offered her wedding pics, she said, "I don't care about your wedding!" She was a beee atch!!!!

Are you doing marriage based, if so, how long have you been married?

Sorry to hear your terrible experience at the interview.

I am an F1 students in the US, and my dad is a US citizen, and filed a Family Visa for me, which is about to become a current by February. When it does, I can file AOS, and wait to hear from the BCIS for an interview.

I was wondering if the length of getting interview was the same as yours Josephine, probably!.

I am not married, and not planning to get residency through USC. How long was the interview? and did you get stamp on your passport? and how long did it take for the actualt Green Card to come through?

I don't know how long the interview was, it seemed like hours, probably 10-30 minutes. Hubby got passport stamped that day.

I have no idea how long it will take in your situation.
