H1 and payment to...

Please, advise - could I have an H1 with one Company, but if another wants to hire me could the second Company make payment to my original h1 employer on my behalf and if yes how is that possible? Thanks a lot!! (please, note: No second h1 should be arranged in this case)

Come on, I'm desperate! Anybody who might know the answer???

Make payment for what? to transfer the H1 from the 1st company to the 2nd? Or to employ you in some sort of a contract position? (still technically employed by 1st company, but doing work for 2nd company).
