The revulsion that even many Republicans must feel over Donald Trump's appalling March 29 plea to Vladimir Putin to dig up dirt on Hunter Biden, even as Putin continues to commit war crimes in Ukraine on the largest scale seen since WW2, should draw greater attention to the danger of Trump-led fascism in the US. This fascist movement, fueled by anti-immigrant racism and white supremacy, was graphically described in an October 3, 2020 article in The Intercept by Ryan Devereaux entitled:
TRUMP'S TURN FROM IMMIGRATION TO THE ENEMY WITHIN
This article, written before Trump's still ongoing attempt to overturn the 2020 election, regarded by objective observers and judges in both parties as one of the most open, fair and democratic in America's history, is a warning that unless Trump's fascist movement is stopped in its tracks, America could wind up going the way of Putin's Russia.
