One of the most basic of all Human Rights is the right to life. But ICE doesn't seem to understand that - at least not when immigrant detainees are concerned, according to a report in The Hill:

ICE detention facilities aren't ready for the omicron variant

Which is a greater threat to the safety and well-being of the American people - rapidly-spreading omicron in ICE detention centers, or the fact that some Haitian or Central American refugees seeking entry at the US border might actually be able to receive asylum in the US, despite Biden's refusal to scrap Trump's use of Title 42 to keep them out - ,while being forced by Trump -appointed judges to bring back "Remain in Mexico"?
My vote (unless the Republicans succeed in suppressing it) goes to omicron as a greater danger to America than the desperate Haitian and Central American refugees seeking asylum in what once used to be known as "The Land of the Free".
