It could be said that Donald Trump is taking revenge on America itself for his narrow but still humiliating defeat in the November 3 election. Instead of taking any action to stop the resurgence of coronavirus, which is now reaching record levels and and has taken the lives of almost a quarter of a million people in America, he is now reduced to fighting with his own lawyers who are no longer willing to defend his fraudulent claim of a "rigged" in court.

But this claim is not the only false claim that Trump has been asserting. For the past four years, he has falsely claimed that legal immigrants who are not from "Countries Like Norway" are a danger to America and must be kept out of or forced to leave the United States. He and Stephen Miller have built, not just a Wall, but a mountain of authoritarian decrees and regulations constructed out of lies and hate against nonwhite legal immigrants.

Tearing down, not just Trump's physical; Wall, but the legal barriers he has erected against legitimate asylum seekers, legal refugees, DACA recipients, TPS holders, and most recently, green card and H-1B applicants, must be the first order of business for our new President, Joe Biden, when he takes office in January. How should he accomplish this? What does he need to do?

To be continued.
