In the latest in its series of human rights abuses against immigrant detainees, the Trump administration has reportedly retaliated against several immigrant women who filed complaints against a doctor, Mahendra Amin, who allegedly performed hysterectomies on them without their knowledge or consent at an ICE facility in Irwin, Georgia. In addition to taking revenge against them for speaking out, the deportations also appear designed to destroy evidence against the doctor in ongoing investigations by making key witnesses against im unavailable to testify.
