Upon conclusion of his doomed presidential campaign and conclusion of his current term, fringe anti-immigration Congressman Tom Tancredo will resign his seat in Congress. Tancredo told the Rocky Mountain News
"It's the fact that I really believe I have done all I can do in the House, especially about the issue which I care greatly about [immigration]."
Some in the Colorado political community are speculating Tancredo will seek to oppose Colorado's Democratic Senator Ken Salazar when that seat comes up for re-election in 2010.
I've never been unhappy with my stay at a Westin. Great hotels. The one in Atlanta was memorable. They always have good restraunts.
I never would suspect Detroit of having good hotels - given the reputation.
From what I hear from my friends, no. Thailand is popular with lots of Americans. INS has their regional HQs there. BKK from the air seems to have improved considerably from when I was there last. Our cruise ends in BKK and I will stop then for two days so I should have first hand experience at that time.
"Believe it or not, the airport I find one of the nicest I know in any country is Terminal A in Detroit."
I haven't been to DTW. Some of the airports that I like stateside are MSP, MCO & LAS. JFK is a disaster especially if you are not a New Yorker and are coming from overseas and connecting to a domestic flight with a different airline.
