Legal news service BNA is reporting that the Social Security Administration has confirmed to the news organization that they will not send out Social Security no match letters this year and most likely not until after the Spring. The SSA told BNA that no letters will have been sent in 2007 and that the delay in sending letters is due to the current lawsuit challenging the new DHS no match rule which sets out strict guidelines for employers who receive the letters. The SSA is revising its letter in response to the lawsuit.
