Immigrants' List has launched an online petition campaign to urge local television stations to reject Tom Tancredo's outrageous television ads that links unauthorized immigrants to terrorism. While free speech is an important value in this country (that's why I choose to ignore rather than censor many ridiculous comments on this blog), television stations regularly reject advertisements that are offensive. And it is their Supreme Court-recognized right. They ought to be exercising it in this case.

By the way, beefing up the enforcement against the illegal immigrants was done under scare of terrorism. But does anyone know the statistics?
From the 600,000 or so illegal immigrants, deported this year, how many ARE terrorists?
From the September 11 terrorists, how many WORKED illegally in America?
From all the apprehended terrorists, how many ARE children of illegal immigrants, who came at young age to the country?
I could be wrong, but as far as I know:
No terrorist ever worked illegally in America.
No terrorist was a child of illegal immigrants.
All the Oklahoma terrorists were American born.
None of the 9/11 terrorists was trying to get a green card or citizenship...
It can go on and on...
To summarize it: wasting resources on raiding factories, farms, and homes and catching illegally working immigrants is a gross misuse of tax money.
