In this case, it was a first responder vehicle going from Windsor, Ontario across the border to a Detroit hospital for a patient needing emergency heart surgery. We've gotten to the point where Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials are so afraid of being the one to mess up and let in a terrorist that common sense no longer prevails. We need to move past a CYA mentality to one that actually serves the public interest.
