  "under extended review" means USCIS has found another way to kick you around ( now that they can't sing the song "FBI namecheck is pending" ). I don't want to beat the dead horse USCIS .

  My AOS case was pending back ground security check at Washington DC local office.Now I learnt through my Congress Man
  that my case is undergoing "Administrative Review". Why didn't they do this review while my case was pending name check? Or is this administrative review part of name check?? What does administrative review means??
