Comment: 20th Anniversary Help For The Bar
The first issue of Immigration Daily was sent out on May 2, 2000. Over the last 20 years, we have grown as the newspaper of record for immigration law. We pioneered the distribution of free information about immigration law and policy, leveraging the open platform of the internet to disseminate information on immigration matters. We are pleased to see that the free distribution of immigration information on the internet is now taken for granted by all.
We want to thank three particular groups of people who have been integral to our success. Firstly, we could not have made it here without hundreds of contributing authors - their participation alone shows that Immigration Daily serves a legitimate need of the immigration bar. Secondly, members of the immigration community throughout the country have consistently voted with hard-earned dollars to support our free publication by buying our products and services - without their sustained support Immigration Daily would not be possible. Finally, any publication ultimately derives its legitimacy as a viable and thriving medium from its readers. By continuing to vote with your mouse clicks every day, each and every one of you makes our daily efforts at our offices in New York City to bring you this periodical worthwhile. Thank you all!
Announcement: In the light of Covid-19 crisis, many people have lost their jobs--and this is true of the immigration bar as well. As a free service to the immigration bar, we will be pleased to carry a "Position Sought" advertisement for any immigration attorney or paralegal for 5 business days in Immigration Daily to help them find a position. If you would like to place a free position sought advertisement in Immigration Daily, please send your ad (200 words or fewer) to editor@ilw.com with "Position Sought" in the subject line.
