Focus: India Last Chance Before Monsoon

  • Indian Monsoon arrives in India in June and sits on India continuously delivering almost all the rain India receives for the year during the months of June, July and August. Records of India Meteorological Center show that the arrival of monsoon is highly predictable and that monsoon typically arrives in Mumbai between June 5th and 10th .The monsoon sees multiple days of downpour at a stretch which--due to the poor infrastructure in India--routinely disrupts transportation systems throughout India. The ability to travel in India is severely disrupted during the Monsoon season. One should plan for unpredictable delays during the monsoon, lasting anywhere from a few minutes, to a few hours, to a few days, at a time. We are not exaggerating above, please feel free cross-check with your contacts in India.
  • If you are planning to raise money from India before the September 30th deadline, we strongly recommend that you get started before the onslaught of monsoon. ILW has limited capability to conduct only two custom expos for clients in India in the month of May before monsoon starts--one in early May and one in late May. If you come to us now, you will have the choice of early or late May. If you come to us late April, you would have only the choice of late May or we may be completely sold out by then.
