USCIS is now using Twitter to communicate with customers and stakeholders. Once a month, USCIS customer service staff are available on Twitter (@USCIS) to answer questions about our processes and procedures, such as how to check case status and where to find specific forms and information about fees, and other questions customers might ask when calling our National Customer Service Center. We invite you to join our next Twitter Office Hours tomorrow, Tuesday, August 23, from 2 to 3 p.m. (Eastern).

You can join the conversation by following USCIS on Twitter and using the hashtag #AskUSCIS. We’ll answer as many questions as possible during the hour. Please note that we cannot answer any case-specific questions or questions regarding pending or proposed policies and rules. As a reminder, you should never post personal information (e.g. case file numbers, social security numbers) on social media.
