About The Author

Teodora D. Purcell is a certified specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, and an Associate with Fragomen, Del Rey Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, a global immigration law firm in its San Diego office. Ms. Purcell obtained her LLM in Comparative Law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, and holds J.D. and LLM degrees from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bulgaria, where she is also a licensed attorney. She has extensive experience in all facets of immigration practice and has handled numerous employment and family based immigration cases, as well as removal defense, asylum, naturalization and other special immigrant cases.
