Had anyone traveled to Pakistan with the PR stamp in the passport. Can you please share your experience coming back from Pakistan. Did you have any problem with airlines, INS etc.

    Thanks

At least wait until you get the actual green card.

I would also recomend waiting for getting the actual green card. Though I dont even have a stamp on my passport yet I have heard from my friends travelling to Pakistan especially Islamabad that FIA (immigration authority in Pakistan) isn't even aware of the passport stamping proceedure of the INS and tend to scrutinize such passengers alot!

I would contact the Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC andd perhaps someone over there could be of any help. Though I highly doubt it!

Stamp on your Passport is as good as original GC. It has your Alien number and date of its validity. There will be no problem for travelling to any country. Authorities can check your status from anywhere.
    Good luck.

If you've some criminal conviction on your record you may get questioned by the Immigration when trying to reenter the U.S.
