Thread: Is it possible for a minor( age 9) US citizen sponsor one of his parent?

    The son is an US citizen by birth, both parent are not US citizen but have a son born here. There are a total of five family members including the son. The son has an American passport and is living here with his Aunt.

    He has to wait until he's 21 Y/O to sponsor his parents.

    Until your child is 21 years of age, he can not sponsor his parents or siblings. When he will be 18 years old, he may decide to reliquish US Citizenship and can opt for your country's citizenship.
    At this time, there is no way that your 9 year old USC child could sponsor you. Consult some good Immigration Attorney and check for some other options, you might have.
