Thread: petition approval in cspa for f4

    hi, everybody,

    now i am 24 year old,my mom petition in f4 become current in november 2001,we have not paid the fees or applyied for visa in consulate,and we have not send any ds forms to consulate,when i contacted consulate about my eligibility in f4
    they told to send petition approval to consulate
    i dont know what is petition approval and they told to send first application what is that


    please any one tell

    1)what is petition approval where we can find that one,consulate pepole told it is with us


    2)what is first application


    3) is i am eligible


    please answer above questions

    The approved petition was the 1-130.

    Your mom has to filed up the DS230 and send it to NVC. This partakes of the nature of a visa application. You should have send it before Nov.2002.

    Here is the comment of a lawyer regarding a question.

    Question: What are the instances when an approved immigrant visa petition or self-petition is automatically revoked?.

    Answer: It is revoked as of the date of approval if: The Secretary of State terminates the registration of the beneficary on the basis of the alien's failure to apply for an immigrant visa within one year following notification to the alien of the availability of such a visa.

    boni, my mom as asked for postponent,and we submitted ds forms 1 in last week and consulate
    as accepeted ds1,and they sent a letter stating that we have accepted your packet 3,if my mom visa is termitted in november then how they will
    they accepted accept ds1 forms ,and now why they are asking petition approval from us ,and where we can see that one

    boni,nvc has sent a letter in december 2001
    and telling that your case has sent to consulate
    for any process you should contact at consulate and we dont have your any files in nvc ,now will nvc accept our ds1 ,since they are telling to contact consulate,and when we contacted consulate ,they told to download packet3 from web site,we have not paid any fees,and only sent ds 1 form in last week ,what we have to do next
