    WHAT WILL BE THE CONSEQENCE IF INS FIND OUT THE WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN HOW MUCH YOU MAKE.

    Jane, INS don't check how big or little money did/do you make at the time of "NATURALIZATION", but they must check definately whether or not you filed or paid taxes which you were supposed to according to tax-laws, and if you ever have failed, then they will deny yr application. However, if you are on installment payment plan with IRS for the taxes you owed, then you need to bring with you all the correspondence you have with IRS at the time of yr interview with INS. Keep in mind, if you ever lied to them or made some alteration on any documents, and if they found out about it, whether before approving yr application or later (even 100yrs later), then they wll definately deny yr application or will revoke yr citizenship since you have been untruthful to them , and this is a significant ground for denial, as well there is no appeal on this denial. I think you don't wanna jeopardize yr immiration status even for future since you don't know how and when govt. will find out about yr deception to them. I guess it clears to you that it doesn't matter to them how much you make/made money. Nevertheless, if you really made very little money, then they wanna know that how you are/were supporting yr self with that little money because in this situation, INS automatically presumes that you are involved in some kind of illegal activities. But keep in mind that they will only question this if YOU HAVE NO "VISIBLE" INCOME WHATSOEVER, OR IF YOU REALLY MADE VERY VERY LITTLE MONEY.Good luck.
