    It depends on the location where you are living. At some places is about 6 - 8 months and some places about one year or little more.

    I know you are in the United States. It depends on the city and the INS Service Center. If it is a busy center it will take longer. Usually, with 2 - 4 months, you will get letter for Finger Printing and thereafter it usually takes 2 - 3 months for an interview. After interview it takes 1 - 2 months for Oath Ceremony. But the time differs from place to place.

    I was wondering the same thing because I'm up for that too. I looked at the processing times and I noticed a while ago that it's not listed there anymore so thanks Umesh.

    I submitted my n-400 application on 19th july 2002 at TSC and my oath is scheduled on 22nd Feb 2003.
