The wording is listed on the BCIS website but if you go to an authorized translation service they provide the certification with the translated documents. I had several documents translated from Spanish to English and the translators attached a letter stating their qualifications. I hope this is helpful. Good luck.

My husband needed this done as well; check in the yellow pages where you live under translation services. It should be fairly easy to locate someone to do this for you and provide the certification.

Tak, the following is directly off the BCIS website:

Please submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.
The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:

    Certification by Translator

I typed name , certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled .

    Signature
    Date Typed Name
    Address

    Hope this is helpful.

You can translate any of your documents yourself, attach statement as in previous posts, and notarize your signature with any notary public.

That's what I've done several times, and it was accepted by then INS.
