Thread: RE-ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS

  1. #1
    Guest
    THIS IS MY SITUATION
    I AM A J1 STUDENT HERE ON A SCHOLARSHIP.
I AM CURRENTLY IN MY THIRD YEAR OF MY DEGREE.

MY DAD HAS LIVED HERE AS A PERM. RESIDENT FOR THE PAST 18YEARS .

HIS WIFE IS A NATURALIZED CITIZEN.
I WILL BE 21 YEARS OLD BBY THE 12th OF APRIL.

    QUESTION:
WHO IS THE BEST PERSON TO FILE FOR ME SO I CAN HAVE MY STATUS ADJUSTED ?

    MY DAD / HIS WIFE?

HOW SOON WOULD I BE ABLE TO GET A WORK PERMIT THAT ALLOWS ME TO WORK WITHOUT THE RESTRICTIONS THAT I AM SUBJECTED TO NOW?

HOW SOON WOULD I BE ABLE TO PICK UP MY GREEN CARD ?

WOULD I HAVE TO RETURN HOME TO DO THIS ?

MY J1 EXPIRES IN MAY' 2005

    PLEASE REPLY QUICKLY

    I AM ANXIOUS !

    THANKS

All advisers here know nothing about immigration law.
Leave now before it is too late, otherwise you'll be sorry when you will realize that the advices given are all wrong, but it would be too late.
These are people that know NOTHING about imm. law, they wish they knew.
Don't you realize that if they knew what they say they know, then they would already be lawyers. They couldn't finish college, so now they act like they did. they wish they could do something but the are nobodys.
    General Site Disclaimer
Visitors are cautioned that legal information posted on the Internet is always generalized and should not be used as the basis for making decisions about any particular set of facts. Immigration law is extremely complex. Decisions based on incomplete or inaccurate information may lead to serious adverse results, such as deportation, lengthy delays, or loss of immigration status.

Persons needing immigration help often fall prey to nonlawyers engaged in the unauthorized practice of law, who lack the knowledge and training to properly evaluate all factors in a case. If you need immigration assistance, please consult a lawyer who has solid experience in immigration law. This advice may be extremely important for you and your family. We urge you to take it seriously.
