    Hi All

    Is there a waiver for 212(a)(6)(c)(I) Misrepresentation this section for a non immigrant Visa ?

    Please advise

    depends....if you are applying for a B2 visa, you first have to overcome 214b....if the CO does not believe that you will abide by the terms of a tourist visa, your application will be denied and there will not be a mechanism by which you could ask for a waiver....and if you (or your 'friend') is already ineligible under 6C(i), why would a CO believe anything either you (or the 'friend') would say about respecting our laws? My guess is no one would believe a word the applicant says....with good reason.
