Thread: To Lord Chief... one more question Re AOS photos

  1. #1
I have one more question for you, if you don't mind.

We are just reviewing all the paperwork re AOS for spouse, for the hundred'th time :-) and I am confused to how many photos we have to attach to particular documents.

On previous threads some say 8 for beneficiary and 1 for sponsor, if so..... how many to each document?

We've read the instructions and according to them we only need 5 for beneficiary and 1 for sponsor but then again the instructions are not very clear. The G-325A doesn't have any instructions so maybe additional photos have to be attached to it.

I'm confused and want to make this right.
So please can you or anyone else help me out on this?

    Thanks

In my law firm, and at all law firms where I ever worked (I've been doing corporate immigration for a while now), our rule of thumb is this: 8 photos for the foreign national and 2 for US citizen spouse (I assume you are referring to the adjustment as the spouse of a USC). I-130 takes 2 *** of spouse and 2 *** of USC. I-485: 2 *** of spouse. I-765: 2 *** of spouse (even though many will call you in to get the EAD and you'll be photographed again). I-131: 2 *** of spouse. No *** for G-325 or affidavit of support. Remember, it's best to have too many pictures than too few. And make sure they are in the right format.
