Whats the next DV Lottery, DV2005 or DV2006?
When do they start accepting applications and when do they stop accepting apllications?

    Thank you in advance!

Next Visa Lottery will be DV2005.
Applicants will be selected at random by computer from among all qualified entries. Only winners will be notified by mail at the address listed on their application. The notifications will be sent to the winners between April and July 2004, along with instructions on how to apply for an immigrant visa.
Persons not selected will NOT be notified. U.S. embassies and consulates will not be able to provide a list of successful applicants. Anyone who does NOT receive a letter will know that his/her application has not been selected.
DV2005 visas will be issued between October 1, 2004 and September 30, 2005. Applicants must meet ALL eligibility requirements under U.S. law in order to be issued visas.

    Good luck

Has it been issued some press release from the State Department on this?

2007, you dont need a press release for this, coz the rules are the same every year. I must add that the applications must be received at the processing center in the month of October, and you must use ordinary mail. If you are in the US, if at the time of processing you have been out of status for 180 days or more, you are ineligible for the benefir. Go to the state dept site which is www.state.gov. Thanks!
