Thread: this Immigration reform talk by obama's white house

  1. #1
    Hello,

I am unlawful present 90 days already. No removal order yet. I have no criminal record. I only made a big mistake. Is Obama's immigration reform (hypothetically speaking) for undocumented people only? unfortunately, uscis has all my information because i had b2 visa recorded at port of entry. If I leave now, I get 3 year bar.

thanks. i doubt that i will be able to re-enter, even if i left in less than 180 days. us border patrol would be very suspicious.

Sorry, but I don't think immigration reform is a hot button issue for Obama right now. He's dealing with bigger issues. We need to get the US economy back to a healthier state before tackling other things.

Leaving now, it won't be impossible for you to re-enter. Stay longer and it will.

    Your choice.

Waiting for an amnesty that may never happen (don't forget that it didn't get past a mostly democrat congress prior to the election) would be a bigger mistake than the one you've already made.

Yes, you will be covered by the amnesty. Do NOT leave. Stay for the amnesty. Do NOT go to any more hearings. You are safe.

Please don't listen to this advice. He's just pulling your leg.

NonFixcion: Well, for starters, your name is not at all accurate, given the FICTION that you told to America's Customs and Border Protection officials at the port of entry - and also to the Consular officer who issued you with your B-1/B-2 visa.

Obviously, you had zero intention of honoring your commitment, and evidently intended to immigrate to America illegally.

The American people are opposed to amnesty for liars and cheats...as they demonstrated when they prevented the intended amnesty in 2007.

If you believe that amnesty will pass anytime soon...then, quite honestly, you're not smart enough to be immigrating to America.

Your best bet, even at this late stage, would be to cut your losses and leave the United States before you're subject to an automatic bar against reentry. Your options going forward only get worse and worse.
