    I have heard that if you have an associates degree that with the help of a lawyer you can find a employer to sponsor you for employment or the degree can make it easier to migrate. Is this true?

    What kind of degree you have? If you are in nursing, physician, or health related degree then you have no problem.

    To apply for H1B visa you need to have at least a B.S. degree in the field that is directly related to your work, or equivalent (e.g. 3 years working experience per missing year for 4-year college education)
