    For special registration, will INS know if I had worked illegaly at any point? How extensive is the source of info? Bankruptcy info will be there too?

    No.

    As long as you are not paying taxes, they won't be able to find out, but if you claim your social security wherever you work, they may be able to get the info.
    Also, they may ask you if you are working and how are you supporting yourself. you have to be prepared for that.
