Thread: WOrking for the federal gov't without documentation

I have been illegal in the US for the past ten years. My mother applied for me and the petition was approved and now we are about to file the necessary paperwork to adjust my status. I have however been employed by the federal gov't for the past year. Will the petition to adjust my status be denied? I have stated where I am currently working on the form and we are filing this form in one week. Can any attorney out there offer advice?

First question. Do you have an EAD? If you dont then the government is dumber than I thought. The IRS may not like you either.

I applied to a company in Flordai originally for an H1-B visa. When I arrived for my interview (24hrs later)it was only then they denied me access because to the grounds because they were a Federal Government contractor.....I'm assuming DOD!
