Immigration Enforcement Put American Citizens In Immigrant Detention, Lawsuit Alleges

The story means nothing, as it does not address the actual facts of the case. What did the suspect claim to the officer? Did he claim American citizenship? All it says is that he was an American citizen. It does not discuss what he claimed or what evidence he produced. It doesn't even say if he produced it later or made his claim later.
