Thread: AOS: Admissibility or deportability

A friend is doing employment-based AOS. The problem is that she had a misdemeanor charge a while back. The maximum possible penalty is 1 year and she was only fined a couple of hundred dollars.

According to the law, she'd be admissible but also deportable (max 1 year is still admissible but deportable, strange law, huh). So what's likely happen to her AOS?? Based on "Matter of Rainford", she should be fine, right?
