Will it be good to proceed for EDV 2015 in my case?

I am now doing my medical study. I want to take part in EDV lottery programe. My study will be finished in 2017. If I will fill up application for 2015 EDV I will get limited time to enter in US if I will be selected for it right?Or do I have other options that I will be selected and I will go to US after comptetion of my study? If that is not possible I should take part after completion of my study right? Please suggest what will be the best idea?I also know that filling form doesnt mean that I will be selected but if I will be selected and cant go there will be no meaning to fill so what are the options please advice...Thanks in advance!!!!

Concentrate on your studies first. After completing your Medical studies you will have choice of doing Internship/residency in several countries including the U.S.A. After finishing your studies you will also have option for DV lottery.
