Section by Section Summary of the Senate Immigration Bill - Title III

There are a number of subjects covered in this part of the immigration bill. First, the E-Verify system goes universal. We get secure Social Security cards that will become key to the employer compliance system. There are important new rules for asylees, refugees and, for the first time, stateless persons. There are important provisions relating to the interior enforcement system - more judges, new rules on detention, etc. And there are a number of new offenses that can result in deportation or inadmission.

Next up is Title I and then I'll loop back and go through the legalization and AgJobs provisions and the new W visa.
