    Immigration Detention Facilities
Strengthening the nation's capacity to detain and remove criminal and other deportable aliens is a key component of the comprehensive strategy to deter illegal immigration and protect public safety. Apprehension, detention and removal of illegal aliens is a priority of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This commitment has been backed by significant resources devoted to detention and removal efforts.

DRO secures bed space in detention facilities, and monitors these facilities for compliance with national Detention Standards. The standards specify the living conditions appropriate for detainees. These standards have been collated and published in the Detention Operations Manual (Detention Standards). (Link to the Detention Standards) This Manual provides uniform policies and procedures concerning the treatment of individuals detained by ICE.

you are going to have your family deported for taking you cell phone?
i gess family dont mean much to you!
the punishment you are chosing is just a bit harsh dont you think?

  4. #4
You could always call your cell company and say the phone was stolen, they'll disconnect it, and go get a new phone. If you have insurance on the phone it wont cost anything. Your illegal grint cousin will soon enough be caught, you dont need to help him/her.

  5. #5
    What an A.S.S.

Call the cell company and report it stolen stupid.

    ARQU

  6. #6
The BCIS is not going to send anyone to arrest your cousin. But they may look into your application for permanent residence to see if you lied on your forms etc. Two more groups added to the List of terror groups...things that make you go hmmm

  7. #7
For $100 or $200 cell phone, you are going to report your cousin to USCIS; you never know tomorrow who you are going to need. It sounds rough to me.

  8. #8
And if it were YOUR cell phone he stole, what would YOU do? Maybe next time, he'll steal Arrobo's identity (that's the most common form of identity theft these days, among family members).

  9. #9
I don't care if it's a 5 cent piece of Bazooka gum, stealing is stealing.

The question is, would he steal from a non-family member? If yes, report and deport him. We have enough thieves here already.

Notice the difference of opinions between a natural born USC and immigrants? I'm sure even Michael would agree with me on this one.

    Deport illegal thieves.

  10. #10
I'm natural born USC and I think him trying to get vengence over a phone that cost $50 is ludicrous. The costs to deport this guy, not to mention tying up the immigration system, while he files appeal after appeal, all these costs get shuffled onto the people who ultimately pay those fees, like other usc's who sponser more grints, or us taxpayors. How much do you suppose will it cost to deport him? Even one night in jail has already cost taxpayors most than the stupid phone is worth. I'm not condoning stealing and I seriously think this guy should get his eye's dotted, but deportation? insane
