    Hello Everyone,

Those of you that have followed my story, this has been an interesting journey and I would like to thank you all for all the info and help you've offered me along the way.

My Green Card has now been approved.

This is how my story started if you wanted to have more info:

Yesterday, Saturday I got a letter stating the following:

" Your application for adjustment of status to that of a permamnent resident has been granted.
If you are traveling or need evidence of your permanent resident status, please call 1800 375 5283 to make an appointment. When you are given your confirmation number, please write it here ___________.

Please bring this original notice to your scheduled appointment along with your arrival/Departure record (form I-94), driver's licence and your VALID PASSPORT. If you do not have a valid passport, bring (1) one immigration style photograph ".

My wife and I got really happy and it seem like it's all a big step forward and I am very happy.

Thanks guys for all of your help

    Thanks guys.
    I appreciate it.

For you all that are still awaiting a decision on your different immigration cases I would like to say 1 (one) thing to you:
Keep faith and have faith and everything will be alright.
Patience is the only key to this whole immigration thingy.
So try to have plenty of it if required.
I'll be praying for you all to have the same outcome like mine.
And always keep a smile on your face.

    Take care.

    Kalla, Merci beaucoup.

I really wish you, all the best man.
I am sure everything will come through for you dear friend.

I scheduled the appointment date and it is sometimes this week to go and get my passport stamped.

I am happy about that. Feels great man.

Do I need to go alone or with my wife?

    Thanks everyone.

    Hello...
    turbox1 !!!!!!!

    Voila moi beau........
    C'est comment? Tu viens d'ou?
Merci mon frere et bonne chance a toi aussi.

    Hello everyone else,

I got my passport stamped today.
It's says in my passport now that my I-485 has been approved and that I am now a Legal Permanent Resident.

They took my I-94 and kept it but he didn't ask for my Work Permit back even though the stamped in my passport says "Employment authorized".

    Is that a bad thing?
Will they need it someday? Do I need to send it back to them?

    Thanks for ur help again.
    BLSI
